Here at Stone we are ready for the new school year. Tuesday we welcomed over 100 7th graders to the building and had a great day of games, getting to know each other and exploring the school building. If you are not there yet, it is time to start thinking about returning back to school. We are busy preparing the building, planning activities and training our staff to ensure that all students have a quality experience this school year. Stone is grounded on its core value that ALL Students are CAPABLE of SUCCESS. No EXCEPTIONS! We look forward to partnering with our family community to ensure that we foster this core value in and outside of Stone Middle School. Please visit our welcome site on the Stone website to keep up with the opening of school activities and important information: 2023-24 school year page.

This year we are combining our back to school night and open house into one evening. On August 17th, families and students will have the chance to meet teachers, meet administrators, meet counselors, walk the school building, sign up for PTA and more. Please join us!
The first day of the 2023-24 school year is Monday, August 21! Parents, students, and staff members are invited to share their favorite pictures or videos from the first day of school on social media using the hashtag #FirstDayFairfax. Photos from across the county will be shared on the FCPS Facebook and Instagram pages. Stone Middle School will post their photos on Instagram @stonemspanthers, Facebook: Stone Middle School.
