Dear Columbia ES friends and families:
We are thrilled to welcome everyone to our Open House event this coming Thursday, August 17th at 3pm here at Columbia Elementary School. We also are looking forward to sharing time with our newest Cougars, rising Kindergartners and families, on Saturday August 19th at 10am on the playground at CES.

Medication Drop-off available at Open House
The health room will be open 3 - 4pm for medication drop-off in accordance with Open House event on Thursday August 17th.
Please make sure to have the most current and up-to-date forms with you when you drop off medication. If you have questions about medication drop-off or the forms needed, please email our Public Health Nurse, Lekeithia "Dee" Wilkes, at lwilkes@fcps.edu
Reminder - volunteer opportunity!
The CES PTA will be hosting the "Welcome Back Teachers and Staff" lunch on Tuesday, August 15 at 12:00 pm. We will need volunteers and contributions of food and supplies. This will be a Tropical BBQ-themed buffet-style lunch. We will also have a gift card raffle at the lunch.
Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Items can be dropped off at the school starting at 8:00 am on August 15. We need all supplies by 10:00 am. If you need to make any special arrangements for drop-off, please contact Sylvie.

August 19th - Rising Kindergarten Summer Playdate, 10am
- Rising KG students sharing popsicles on the playground together and with teachers!
- Our new PTA funded benches will be dedicated this morning as well.
August 21st - First day of 23-24 School Year
- Doors open at 9:05am
- School starts at 9:20am
- Dismissal is at 4:05pm
August 30th - Back To School Night 5pm & 6pm
- K, 1st, and 2nd grades: 5pm - 5:45pm
- 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades: 6pm - 6:45pm
August 30th - Columbia ES Family Night Out!
- PTA Fundraiser night at Chipotle!
