TOMORROW MORNING is the first day of school for kindergarten, grades 1-5 and Preschool Autism Classrooms (PAC)! The Bren Mar Park staff is excited to welcome back our students!
Doors open at 9:00 a.m. Dismissal begins at 4:00 p.m. Please ensure that students are at the school with adult supervision prior to the doors opening. The first few days of school can be delayed in pick up or arrival times by busses, and Kiss & Ride may move a little slower as we all work to ensure every child's safety. Please be patient.
Some ideas to help your child be ready for the first day of school:
- Talk to your child about any fears or anxiety he / she might have.
- Help your child memorize important contact phone numbers.
- Make sure your child knows how he / she is going home on the first day.
- If taking the bus home, visit the bus stop and identify what makes that bus stop unique.
Monday, August 28 is the first day of school for Early Childhood Class Based (ECCB) with Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Sperty and PreK with Ms. Diana.
The Bren Mar Park front office is open from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on days students are in the building.
Those who ordered school supply kits from the PTA fundraiser will have kits delivered to the classroom in time for Open House.
For those who did not order the kits, school supply lists are available for the 2023-24 school year on the Bren Mar Park website.
August 21 First Day, 9:00 a.m. - Students can buy breakfast
August 28 First Day of School for ECCB and PreK
September 1-4 Holiday: Labor Day Weekend - No School
September 21 Back to School Night, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
