Dear Bailey’s ES Families,
As the month of July comes to an end, we are reminded that summer break provides a wonderful opportunity for students to explore, learn, and make memories that will last a lifetime. We hope your summer days have been filled with fun times with family and friends!
We wanted to let you know that the school supply lists have been added to our school website. They are also included in this week's newsletter. Stay tuned for more updates about the 2023-24 school year in our upcoming newsletters. In the meantime please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or need assistance.

Bailey’s ES Registration
If your child will be attending Bailey’s Elementary School for the 2023-2024 school year and you have not completed any registration paperwork, please contact Sofia Arias at, 703-575-6804 or searias@fcps.edu, as soon as possible. We want to make sure that all students are registered and ready to attend school on August 21st.
Bailey’s is Hiring Student Monitors
We are hiring student monitors for the 23-24 school year. If you are interested or know someone who is please email Ms. Tracey Brown Rice at tcbrownrice@fcps.edu and use this link to apply. We are looking for candidates who can work Monday-Friday, 8:30 am- 4:00 pm.

Description: Provides supervision of students throughout the school day to include but not limited to the classroom, hallways, lunch, recess, specials and at arrival/dismissal; helps maintain order and discipline and assists in managing the behavior of students; operates technology; performs administrative and non-instructional duties; ensures all layered prevention/safety protocols and procedures are implemented and followed; works with individual and small groups of students.

Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school. Must be comfortable managing student behaviors in large and small groups, ensuring all layered prevention/safety protocols and procedures are implemented and followed; and has general familiarity/skills with basic office technology in support of teachers, students, and the classroom.

Hourly pay: $16.85

Families must submit an application and be approved to be eligible for free and reduced-price meals.
Interested families are encouraged to submit the Free and Reduced-Price Meal application linked here prior to the start of school on August 21st.
