Summer Greetings, Haycock Families,
We are excited to welcome our teachers and students back to Haycock in a few short weeks.
We need those last minute registrations in! If you are waiting because it's only the end of July and it seems like you still have lots of time, please don't delay. Contact Yujin Choi to finish your school registration today at 703-513-4000 or at ychoi2@fcps.edu.
It is very important that we get students registered as soon as possible since this impacts our staffing. Please see our website for more information about registering. Encourage neighbors new to our Haycock community to hurry up and register their students.
Our summer office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Community Garden Clean Up on Tuesday, 8/1
If you are around on the evening of Tuesday, August 1, (tomorrow evening) please stop by Haycock from 6:30-7:30 p.m. to help with the weeding and cleaning up of our front gardens. With many hands, the work will go quickly! All are welcome. We want to make the outside of Haycock look beautiful as we begin a new school year🌼 If you have gardening tools, bring them with you.
Rising 6th Grade Tour Guides Needed on 8/10
Please complete this form if your rising 6th grade student would like to assist with conducting tours of Haycock for our new families and students.

2:30-3:00- S-Z
Popscicles will be provided by the PTA out on the playground. Come out to the playground after you meet the teacher and drop off school supplies.
Summer Kindergarten August Playdate- 8/19
We encourage our new Kindergarten families to attend the upcoming Kindergarten playdate on the Haycock playground.
Saturday, August 19th at 2:00 p.m. (changed from 8/13 at 2:00)
Have your student wear their new Kindergarten t-shirt and meet some of the other students who will be in their class.
Student Monitor Positions at Haycock Available
Have some extra time on your hands? Do you enjoy working with children? If the answer to these questions is yes, then email Jody Delaney, Assistant Principal at mdelaney@fcps.edu. We are looking for a few more monitors to assist us for the coming school year- this is an hourly paid position.
