Come and visit your child's classroom and learn about what your child will be learning this school year. Two sessions will be available so families can visit the classrooms for different children.

Families are welcome to delivered purchased child's school supplies to the classrooms during this time. School kits purchased through the PTA fundraiser will be in classrooms by this time.

Monday, August 21 is the first day of school for kindergarten, grades 1-5 and Preschool Autism Classrooms (PAC)! Doors open at 9:00 a.m. Dismissal begins at 4:00 p.m. We hope to see every child with us on Day 1!
And, before school starts, meet with friends - old and new - at our Playground Playdates. The date has changed to Saturday, August 19th. See the end of the newsletter for more information on these and other upcoming events!
Monday, August 28 is the first day of school for Early Childhood Class Based (ECCB) with Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Sperty and PreK with Ms. Diana.
Online Registration is now available for families to apply for students entering Kindergarten through grade 12 for the 2023-2024 school year.

- Rising kindergarten students that were enrolled in one of our FCPS preschool programs last school year, please contact the registrar at the school the student will attend kindergarten for the upcoming school year. School information can be found on the Schools and Centers page.

Bren Mar Park is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability or age, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be served in the school cafeteria and will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. The Summer Food Service Program will be closed on July 3rd and July 4th.
FCPS offers no-cost breakfast and lunch to all children 18 years of age and younger. There is no registration involved and everyone is welcome! Meals must be consumed at the school. It's also a great time to connect with others.
- Breakfast will be served between 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
- Lunch will be served between 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.

Those who ordered school supply kits from the PTA fundraiser will have kits delivered to the classroom in time for Open House.
For those who did not order the kits, school supply lists are available for the 2023-24 school year on the Bren Mar Park website.
 Be ready for the first day of school with required immunizations and physicals!
