Dear Cub Run Families,
Our school garden is in full bloom this summer! During the spring, students planted seeds, designed water irrigation systems, and tended to their fledgling flowers and veggies.
If you happen to be in the neighborhood, please do stop by and take a look at our bountiful garden!
In other exciting news, work on the new mural going up in the library started today! Jenny Burgei and her team at Capital Murals created the beautiful mural last summer in our main entrance.
This new mural will be on the left- and right-hands walls of our library, and it's already brightening up the space. We'll share photos of the progression and save the big reveal for our Open House on Thursday afternoon, August 17, from 2:00-3:30. Many thanks to our PTA for raising funds for these beautiful additions to our learning spaces!
We can't wait to see the finished mural!
Please see below for information about Kinder Camp and Kindergarten Orientation, and check out the updated "Mark Your Calendar" section for back-to-school events and holidays coming in August and September.
Warm regards,
Natalie Lorenzi

We can't wait to welcome our newest cubbies to Kindergarten in August! Instead of having our orientation in the spring as we've done in the past, we're moving this event to August in order to shorten the time between the orientation and the first day of school for our Kinders.
