Good morning Stenwood Families!
I hope everyone's summer is off to a great start. I'm excited to share with you that Mr. Bryan Case has been selected as our new assistant principal!
Mr. Case was most recently the Dean of Students at Liberty Middle School. Prior to serving in this role, he was the Director of Choirs at Liberty MS from 2014-2022 and the Director of Choirs, as well as a Theatre Arts Teacher at Herndon Middle School from 2009-2014.
Mr. Case is passionate about building relationships and ensuring that the voices of students are valued. He loves asking restorative and reflective questions of students, teachers, and families with the goal of increasing engagement and belonging at school for all involved to ensure student success.
Mr. Case holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree in Choral Music from Florida State University. He has a Master of Education Leadership from George Mason University, where he also received his endorsement in Administration and Supervision.
Mr. Case and his wife Hallie have two children in FCPS, rising 1st and 3rd graders. He is also an FCPS graduate and loves raising his kids in the same community where he grew up. He plays softball, coaches his children’s soccer and baseball teams, and leads music at his church. He enjoys trail running, lots of podcasts, and dad jokes.
He is thrilled to join Region 2 and the Marshall Pyramid, and most importantly, looks forward to getting to know the fantastic community at Stenwood!
Sincerely,
Erica Riley, Principal esriley@fcps.edu Twitter @esriley1
