Volunteer and Job Opportunities
Hello, Springfield District,
Happy last day of school!
In compliance with the Virginia Literacy Act, FCPS will be engaging in the basal resource adoption process for Elementary Language Arts. The process, governed by FCPS regulation 3004.5, will include both a community review period and a deep review by a committee made up of representatives from a variety of stakeholder groups - teachers, administrators, and community members. Please consider applying to serve on the School Board’s 2024-2025 Elementary Language Arts Basal Resources Adoption Committee.
Additionally, the School Board is looking to hire a Deputy Clerk to the School Board. This is an important position that provides highly responsible administrative management and support tasks for the chair and members of the School Board.
Lastly, FCPS is holding virtual and in-person Instructional Job Fairs on Thursday, June 22, 2023. Join our team in making a difference in the lives of children every day!
Read below for more information about these opportunities.
Wishing all of you a happy, relaxing, and safe summer! Looking forward to seeing you all again on the first day of school, August 21st!
All my very best-
Laura Jane
