Hello Shrevewood Families,
This week was filled with memories that will last a lifetime! From Field Day on Monday to our 6th Grade Promotion Ceremony yesterday, and saying farewell to all of our 6th graders as they walked the halls for the last time this afternoon, we have had a busy and memorable end of the year.
As we finish another incredible school year, we wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude and admiration for all of our students and families. It has been a year filled joyous experiences, and together we have proven our dedication to the pursuit of excellence.
Thank you for being an integral part of our extraordinary school community. Your support, dedication, and contributions make Shrevewood truly exceptional.
We have you all have a wonderful and safe summer!
Sincerely,
Joshua DeSmyter, Principal
Katie Vandawalker, Assistant Principal
It is the time of year that we are focused on endings and beginnings. We are ending the school year and looking forward to the beginning of summer. Some endings are much harder for us, especially when they involve saying goodbye to some of our wonderful Shrevewood staff members. It is with mixed feelings of sadness and affection that we bid a fond farewell to the following Shrevewood staff members:
- Kirsten Milhorn, First Grade Teacher
- Mallory Bonner, Third Grade
- Marien Voorhees, Fifth Grade Teacher
- Abbie Zarro, Sixth Grade Teacher
- Cameron Boster, Counselor
- Kelsey Duggan, Reading Specialist
- Kym Falkler, Reading Resource Teacher
- Tosha Price, Math Resource Teacher
- Nadeen Zoorba, ESOL Teacher
- Suzi Russell, Art Teacher
- Mark Shriver, PE Teacher
- Ava Lehavi, Special Education Teacher
- Anjana Neupane, Special Education Teacher
- Fahima Amin, Instructional Assistant
- Sarwat Omar, Instructional Assistant
- Kristen Neumeister, Speech Language Pathologist
As the summer approaches, we could still have staffing changes. We will continue update the community of any changes. We are already almost fully staffed for next school year. We will introduce the new staff members with you later this summer.
Goodbyes are not forever.
Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean I’ll miss you
Until we meet again!
