Dear Columbia ES friends and families:
As we wrap up the 2022-2023 school year, we would like to share our sincere appreciation with the entire CES community for a great year. The students continued to excel and grow academically, socially, and emotionally. The CES faculty and staff continued to provide a welcoming and caring atmosphere. The partnership between parents and the school is as strong as ever. We truly appreciate everyone's efforts in continuing to make this wonderful place truly a small school, with a big heart!
In addition to saying goodbye to our students, we are so proud to offer congratulations to Rekha Patel (Assistant Principal), Louise Sperling (Reading Specialist), and Judy Ann Yeh (Kitchen Manager) on their retirements! Our wonderful PTA has led the effort on providing a gift to the school in their honor that will live on for years. This commemorative bench will be installed in the next few months and we are thrilled for this wonderful addition to our beautiful school grounds.

Final progress reports coming home today
If you haven't already accessed the grades in ParentVue, students will also be bringing home a hard copy of their final progress reports. If you need assistance of help accessing ParentVue online, please call the main office at 703-916-2500.
Summer Hours - Main Office
The main office at Columbia Elementary School will be open during the summer months from 9am - 2pm, Monday - Friday, except for holidays. If you would like to schedule an appointment, you can always call the main office at 703-916-2500 and ask for Ms. Sandy McGargo.
