Beginning Thursday, June 22nd, the main office will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
 It has been the most amazing last week of school at MUES!
We began the week with our PTA Fun Run followed by our schoolwide luau. We had two students serve as Principal and Assistant Principal for the Day. Dhanya, 5th grader in Ms. Catalano's class, and Kayden, 4th grader in Mr. Thomas' class, did a great job leading our school on Tuesday! We ended the week with our 6th grade promotion ceremony, luncheon, and after party.
All of this great work to celebrate the wonderful year we had with all of our Mustangs would not have been possible without the hard work of our dedicated staff and the most amazing family volunteers.
I'm very proud to serve the McNair Upper ES community. Thank you for making this a great week to be a Mustang!

MUES Summer Challenge
Students need to logon through their FCPS schools account to be able to access the summer challenge.
Are you looking to jam out this summer? Ms. Scott’s Guitar and Ukulele Clubs are ready to rock! Whether it is your first time joining the clubs, or you’ve been part of the clubs before, Summer Guitar and Ukulele will be great summer fun. With new songs, games, and activities, the clubs will take place in Ms. Scott’s music classroom (room 257) for students grades 3-6 at McNair Upper. The classes will be available for all levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced). Students are encouraged to have their own guitar/ukulele to join, but are not required to (Ms. Scott has guitars & ukuleles at the school that may be used during club times). Hope you can join us!
- Ukulele Clubs: Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:00-11:00
- Guitar Clubs: Tuesdays & Thursdays 11:15-12:15
