Good Morning Glen Forest Families,
It is with excitement that I announce our new assistant principal, effective July 1, 2023, Mr. Christopher Musgnug. Please read this welcome message from Mr. Musgnug...
I’m very excited to join the Eagle community! For the past six years, I have severed as assistant principal at Kilmer Middle School. While at Kilmer, I had the opportunity to supervise the math department and special education department. Additionally, I have supervised world languages, career and technical education, and health and physical education departments. Prior to joining Kilmer, I was a general music teacher at Westbriar Elementary and Pine Spring Elementary.
Away from work, I'm a proud father and husband. I have two girls, Madison who is almost 3, and Morgan, who is almost 1. I'm a graduate of JMU for my undergraduate (Go Dukes!) I have a Masters from Penn State (We Are) and my admin degree from George Mason University.
I also know my last name looks challenging to pronounce! The key thing to know is the middle "g" is silent which makes it much easier to say! I look forward to learning and growing from all of you!
