 Dear Haycock Families,
A huge thank you to all the parent volunteers who assisted with field day on Friday. It was hot, but it was great fun for our students. Mrs. Hecht and Mr. Wilcox, our PE teachers, did a magnificent job of organizing a great Field Day, complete with lots of water activities and cooling stations. Many thanks to all our specialists and nonclassroom based teachers who all pitched in and helped to run the many fun stations, as well.
You should have received a communication from Haycock regarding picking up any student medication in the clinic by the end of the day on Friday, June 16. Any medication that is not picked up must be disposed of.
Finally, this is a gentle reminder that adult supervision of students by Haycock staff begins at 9:05 a.m. when the doors open. We have some students who are arriving earlier than 9:05 and playing on the playground without adult supervision which creates safety concerns. Please make sure your students do not arrive before 9:05, and if they do that they are supervised until the school doors open at 9:05. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
This afternoon, we welcomed our Haycock Alumni who are graduating Seniors at McLean HS. They walked the halls of Haycock, and all our students cheered them on. They will graduate tomorrow. All the best to our Haycock Alumni- once a Cougar, always a Cougar. ❤
We are looking forward to the last two weeks of this school year with our students!
With appreciation for your partnership,
Liz Beaty, Principal embeaty@fcps.edu
Heather Boyd, AP HABoyd@fcps.edu
Jody Delaney, AP jmdelaney@fcps.edu

If you are interested in having your students be a part of this group, please email either Veronique Lilienthal at VMLilienthal@fcps.edu or Teresa Padgett at Tpadgett1@fcps.edu, our school counselors, as soon as possible since the year is quickly coming to an end!
