Boosterthon UpdatesĀ

Boosterthon Fun Run

Thank You LTES Community!

Ā The PTA Boosterthon FUNdraiser was amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you to our amazing students, staff, community, and our donors. Not only did we meet our goal, we exceeded it.Ā

Here are our final stats:

  • We raised $19, 254.00 for Supplementing Field Trips, Materials and Resources for Classrooms, and Playground Equipment Fund. This will directly impact our students and staff!
  • Our students ran 35 laps combined to help our school!
  • We celebrated our community coming together and created unforgettable memories at our London Towne Fun Run event.

Thank you for your support of our school. We’re so grateful for our London Towne community!

P.S. Giving will remain open for one more week. If you’d like to continue to give and share, head to MYBOOSTER.COM today.

Since we made our goal, Ms. Padmore promised to camp out in the lobby. Turns out camping out according to our Lions meant camping overnight. Check out the pictures below and videoĀ to see how that went.Ā

Westfield Graduates Visit LTES

Congratulations to the Westfield 2023 Graduates. It was wonderful to see our former Lions around the Towne for a celebratory clap as they head to graduation on Monday! In addition to the tour around the building and clap out, our Graduates had one last opportunity to sing the school song. Click here to check it out.

Don’t Forget to Check Your Student’s Lunch Balance!Ā

It’s a busy time of year, and we know there are many priorities on families’ plates. As we approach the end of the school year, it is important for families to remember to check their students’ MySchoolBucks account and pay any remaining school meal balance.Ā

Families who earn less than 185% of poverty level qualify for free and reduced-price meals. However, an application must be completed and submitted each school year to receive that benefit. The application for the 2023-24 school year will be available near the end of August.Ā

If families have a current balance and think they may be eligible for free and reduced-price meals, please fill out the FRM application for the 2022-23 school year. Get more information about free and reduced-price lunch.

If you are interested in helping to relieve lunch debt for families currently going through the FRM application process, please donate to Educate Fairfax.

FCPS Cares

The FCPS CARES Program is an opportunity for parents, staff, and community members to recognize FCPS employees for going above and beyond to help others and show they care. We invite you to submit your story, so we can all acknowledge the good work of FCPS employees, specifically at London Towne.
