It’s that time again - time to think about ordering school supplies for the 2023-24 school year! For those who may not be aware, SchoolKidz allows parents of students starting in Grades 1-6 to pre-order teacher approved supply lists. Your child’s supply box will be delivered directly to their classroom by PTA before the first day of school, which is Monday, August 21. Prices are comparable to what you pay in stores, and this saves you the hassle of supply shopping. It also helps support the Pine Spring community!
Paper order forms will be sent home with students. This year's due date for paper orders is Friday, June 2nd (no exceptions). Effective immediately parents can also order online at www.shopttkits.com! Please note that you will need Pine Spring’s Account #: 40216. The deadline for online orders is Friday, June 9.

Our SCA is hosting a career day on June 8th, and we are in need of volunteers to share their professional experiences with our students.
This event is an excellent opportunity for students to learn about various career paths and gain insight into what it takes to succeed in different industries. We would greatly appreciate your participation and support in making this day a success.
We are looking for volunteers from all industries and professions to speak with students about their career journeys, answer questions, and share advice. Whether you are a doctor, lawyer, engineer, artist, entrepreneur, or plumber, we believe your unique perspective could make a significant impact on our students.
If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the form linked here by May 12th. We will be in touch with more details regarding the event schedule and logistics.
Pet Supply Drive
Pine Spring's Girl Scouts are sponsoring a pet supply drive for the Alexandria Animal Welfare League! A donation box will be available outside the cafeteria throughout the month of May.
Items in need include unopened pet food/treats, pet toys, litter, beds, towels, leashes/collars, and more. Clean and gently used items are also accepted (some exceptions apply). Donations support shelter animals as well as the community pantry, which provides supplies for needy families who might otherwise be forced to re-home a beloved pet.
You can also donate via the League's Amazon wish list! Please mention Pine Spring Girl Scouts in the gift message to make sure the girls get credit for your donation.
