What a wonderful time we had at the Talent Show and with other celebrations last week! We are also so appreciative of all that our families did to show our staff the love during teacher appreciation week.

As we continue activities that welcome families into Wolftrap, a kind reminder that visitors to our building have an opportunity to interact with all students. I have posted the volunteer notice regarding confidentiality. I would caution volunteers to use care in how you describe classroom visits or student interactions in the community.

I am posting another opportunity to help with our tech team below! They have a huge task at the end of the year, and they have really appreciated your help in years past.

 Our tech team is rounding up computers for the end of the year, and they would like to ask for parent help! Please see the link for sign up opportunities.

Spring SOL Update

We are almost there! We are in the middle of remediation and retakes for those who missed tests or fall within a retake window. Please be mindful of dates for these makeup tests. If you have not checked over the dates, please look carefully on our website.

Summer Camp Opportunities 

Chantilly Academy will host an AFA CyberCamp Monday, June 26, to Friday, June 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. This camp is recommended for rising fifth through eighth graders of all skill levels interested in learning more about the importance of cybersecurity and gaining skill to protect themselves and others from cyber threats. Discounts are available for students eligible
for free and reduced-price meals. Visit the camp website to learn more about registration, curriculum, and schedule. 

Registration is still available for Institute for the Arts (IFTA) and Elementary-IFTA arts camps, Credit Recovery Academy, and Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology’s Middle School Technology Institute
(MSTI). 

All schools and offices will be closed on Monday, May 29, for the Memorial Day holiday. We remember, honor, and thank all of those who have served. Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 30th.

Yearbooks are IN! If you missed the window to order your copy earlier this year, please note that we have extra copies, which are available for purchase now. Orders may be placed by emailing the Yearbook team at: yearbook@wolftrappta.org, and will be processed in the order of receipt until all extras have been assigned. Please include the name(s) of your student(s) and number of copies requested. Books will be distributed to students during the last week of school. 

The Last PTA Meeting for the 2022-2023 School Year is Tuesday, May 23 at 7:00 pm in-person at the Wolftrap Cafeteria.

After a "trip around the world," we hope our teachers and staff know exactly how much they are all truly valued, appreciated and loved by the entire Wolftrap community! We really do think the world of them!
