District tournaments wrapped up this week and now all remaining programs are moving on to the Occoquan Regional Tournaments!

Recapping last week...

Baseball traveled to Edison for the National District Semifinals and fell short in a comeback attempt. They hit the field again on Tuesday for their region matchup vs Alexandria City.

Softball hit the road as well and played tough against number 1 seed Hayfield, trailing 1-0 through three innings before falling 10-0. Softball will return to action Tuesday vs West Potomac.

Boys Soccer lost to Falls Church in the National District first round but bounced back to beat Fairfax in the region play-in game on Wednesday 1-0. They look to continue their run as they travel back to Falls Church on Tuesday for the region second round matchup.

Girls Soccer won their first round matchup vs Mt. Vernon but lost a heartbreaker to TJ in the semis on Wednesday. They will be back in action as they host West Potomac Tuesday evening.

Outdoor Track & Field gets back to action Tuesday and Thursday for the region track meet.

Exciting things happening around Atoms Athletics so don't miss out on the action!!

If you played on an athletic team this year, you are invited to this event and we are encouraging business casual attire for this evening. At the conclusion of the event, we will serve cake and drinks in the auditorium lobby for some socializing and mingling, so mark your calendars!

Prior to the celebration, we are inviting ALL student-athletes who have committed to play athletics in college for a special Next Level Ceremony. We will recognize each student-athlete before having a final picture with everyone.

Dance Team Fundraiser

The dance team needs your support! Grab a tote bag (or just contribute a donation) by following this link: Fundraising Link

The tote bag was designed by current sophomore dancer (and artist) Madison Mueller and it includes our dance team motto, "Every move is a moment!"

After competing for the first time this past season, Annandale Dance Team has even bigger ambitions this year .. Including going to dance camp for the first time this summer, along with more local competitions. Your contributions will go towards dance camp and competition fees, along with uniforms and dance gear. It also ensures that costs to dancers remain at a minimum.

We are going into our 3rd year as a team, so we are still young - which means we need all of the fundraising support we can get. Thank you for your support! GO ATOMS!
