Good afternoon, Lane families!
Next week we have the incredible opportunity to shower Lane teachers and staff with all of our appreciation for everything they do for our students! It's Teacher Appreciation Week!
Thanks to the support we have received throughout the year from the Lane community, the PTA has created a very special week for our teachers and staff! Here's what we have planned and how you can show your appreciation too!
Monday, May 8th
"Donut" know what we would do without you! Thank you for teaching!
The PTA will be providing breakfast for our teachers, and, as you can guess, donuts will be part of the menu! From the family side, the PTA suggests that parents/guardians email a note of thanks to their student's teacher.
Tuesday, May 9th
Teaching is heart work! Thank you for "quenching" our students' "thirst" for knowledge! Enjoy some sweet treats!
The PTA will be stocking the fridge and the front office will be adding snacks to the Teacher's Lounge! From the family side,students are encouraged to wear red, hearts, or a combination of both to fill our school with love for the Lane staff!
Wednesday, May 10th
You make our future "bright"!
The PTA is bringing all the bright school supplies, so Lane teachers can restock on some note pads, dry-erase markers, and highlighters. From the family side, students can wear bright colors to brighten the day for all of our Lane staff!
Thursday, May 11th
'Wich teachers are the best? Lane Elementary School Teachers!
The PTA is catering lunch for the Lane staff! From the family side, it's family's choice! Whether your student brings in a treat for their teacher, a gift card, a handmade gift, or a handwritten poem, we know it will be a nice reminder that their teacher is the very best!
Friday, May 12th
You may be "stuck" with us, but we appreciate you!
The PTA is ending the week on a high note and gifting all of our teachers with Amazon gift cards in combination with personalized Lane stickers from the front office. From the family side, students are encouraged to end the week on a high note too and bring in a letter of appreciation for their teacher(s)! The PTA has developed a template that will go home in Wednesday Folders next week, but students may also write a letter of their own!
