Parent reports will be arriving at homes at the end of this week/early next week. Students in grades 3-12 took the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Screener in March. The SEL Screener reports will be mailed directly to families in the next week. This website includes both the Parent Report as well as a Family Guide to support you in understanding results and ideas for talking with your student about their results. Both are available in multiple languages. To learn more about SEL and how we support students at school and at home please see the FCPS SEL website. Please reach out to our school counselors, school psychologist or school social worker with any questions.
Cookie Bar- Tuesday May 9
HMS PTA is helping plan a week (May 8 - 12th) of great treats for our teachers so let them know they are APPRECIATED!!! Please sign up to donate to the COOKIE BAR for Tuesday, MAY 9TH...each teacher and staff will be able to take home at least a dozen cookies/bars each. Our teachers LOVE homemade!! And store bought is just fine too!!! Donate 1 dozen or multiple dozens!

Stock the Lounge- Wednesday May 10
Every year parents and guardians join together to stock the lounge!! To show our appreciation, we need your help to stock the lounge with snacks, drinks or any other treats you'd like to donate!
Donation ideas:
- Bottled drinks (soda/water)
- Chips
- Fruit (Apples, Bananas, etc.)
- Granola Bars
- Baked Goods
- Candy (Starbursts, M&Ms, Reese's Pieces)
- Popcorn

Donations can be dropped off at the main office Monday 5/8- Wednesday 5/10 anytime between 7:00am-5:00pm.
Refrigerated items or fresh fruit should be delivered on 5/10 only.
 We're excited to host both 7th and 8th grade students to our HMS "Casino Night" Dance on May 12th from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
Tickets will be available for purchase on My School Bucks for $5.
We will have cash sales tomorrow in the cafeteria during lunches!
Dress Code: Semi- formal (SR&R appropriate)

 Summer VIP Camp | June 28 - July 27
We are going to have a lot of fun this summer. Along with the subcamps, students will participate in sports, cooking and other activities. There will be weekly field trips as well. Click Here To Register!
