National School Nurse Day: Wednesday, May 10

National School Nurse Day is Wednesday, May 10. It is a day to recognize the many contributions that school nurses make to student health and learning.

nurse

Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) appreciates the role of School Public Health Nurses (PHNs) for their contribution to the health and welfare of all our students. Professional school nurses support the needs of students through their delivery of healthcare, contributions to local school communities, and promotion of safety, prevention, and wellness throughout the year. They are advocates who bridge healthcare and education by supporting student health and readiness to learn. School nurses are essential to our community and work tirelessly to make a positive impact in the lives of their students.

Please join us in thanking the PHNs for their hard work and dedication to FCPS students.

Hello, Robinson Families,

We are thrilled by how many students are enjoying Robinson’s books this year, and we hope you continue reading this summer (using Robinson’s digital collection or visiting The Public Library).

As we look toward the end of the year, please be sure to return your library books. Students, you are receiving weekly overdue notices, containing all the details for each overdue book, in your school email; parents, you will begin receiving weekly notices this week.

Currently there are close to 700 overdue books checked out, and we seek your assistance in returning them as soon as possible.

Thank you!
