Friday: This is Us Multicultural Spirt Day

This is Us Multicultural Spirt Day - we encourage all students and staff to wear heritage clothing/shirt representing a country of choice

Friday: This is Us Multicultural Night

This is Us Multicultural Night - we invite all students, families, and staff to join us for our inaugural This is Us Multicultural Night to be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. This event will be a celebration where our students and families can come together to learn about the variety of cultures, countries, and traditions represented at Island Creek.

Cafeteria: check out the cultural displays, crafts, and food samples (please make sure to eat dinner prior to the event)

Library:  come see posters and artifacts as well as the PTA Silent Auction

This is Us Performance Schedule

All performances will take place in the Gym

  • 6:30: Fan Dance by Lauren D. (former student)
  • 6:40: Song by Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade students; Ukranian song played on piano by Gala S. 
  • 6:50: Folk Dance by Lauren D. (former student)
  • 7:00:  Song by 5th and 6th Grade students
  • 7:10:  Perfomance by Hayfield Secondary Ethiopian and Eritrean Society
  • 7:20: Mongolian Fan Dance by Lauren D. (former student)
