April is the Month of the Military Child! Every year FCPS takes the opportunity to recognize military-connected youth for their service and contribution to our community. Fairfax County Public Schools is proud to have over 14,000 military-connected youth as a part of our student body. We appreciate the varied life experiences they bring to our school community and recognize their strength and resilience.
On Tuesday, April 25, Katherine Johnson Middle School (KJMS) is hosting a family breakfast to recognize and honor military-connected members of our KJMS community.
If you are a parent or guardian of a KJMS student who is active duty, reserve duty, or retired, please RSVP and let us know if you can join your child for breakfast. Even if you are not able to join us, we are still planning to recognize your student as an important member of our military community.
Thank you for your service to our country!
