SEL

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Spotlight

The five competencies of Social Emotional Learning:

Self-Awareness

Self-Management

                                      Responsible Decision-Making

                               Relationship Skills

                               Social Awareness

Grades 3-6 students took the SEL Screener (social emotional learning) in March and parents should have received score reports in May.  If you’re wondering what these results mean, please take a look at the family guide which includes some helpful conversation starters for each domain.  You can also find the exact questions asked on the screener here.  Please contact our school counselors, Lea Fadden (K,1,2,3,5) and Ashley Mangan (4 & 6) with any questions.  For even more great resources on supporting SEL at home, please visit CASEL: Our Children Are Leaders.
