Coach Bagot went on to play collegiate football at Bridgewater College and returned to Annandale upon graduation in 2007. Over the last 17 years, Coach Bagot has coached multiple sports, and is currently the head baseball coach.

With deep roots in Atom Nation, Coach Bagot has cultivated ties among our community. He founded the popular Annandale Summer Camps and has extensive experience working with and supporting the Atoms Athletic Boosters to provide the best equipment and opportunities for our student-athletes to excel.

Coach Bagot promotes a culture of belonging and excellence on the team. He works hard to instill confidence and build positive characteristics in his student-athletes. He looks forward to bringing an infectious positive energy to the Annandale football program and community.

A quote from Coach Bagot, “I look forward to having a productive spring and summer as we prepare for a successful fall of Friday night lights. I’m excited to make a difference on the field and in the lives of all the student athletes who compete for Annandale High School. I’m humbled to be the next football coach at Annandale and can’t wait to hit the ground running as we prepare to bring excitement and competitiveness to J. Wallace Bolding Stadium.”

Atoms Athletics

Another short week of athletics for the Atoms as Thursday and Friday were designated as no play dates for FCPS schools. Girls soccer got a 1-0 win over Herndon for their lone game of the week while boys soccer fell in a hard fought game in the last few minutes 3-2. Varsity softball played hard but came up short against two very good opponents in Hayfield and Meridian. Girls lacrosse gave full effort in games against the defending district champion (Falls Church) and runner-up (Justice) from last year but were unable to pull out a victories.  Boys Lacrosse continues to improve but fell in their two games for the week. Boys and Girls tennis played well in their three matches for the week but came up short in each. Track continued their season with more personal best accomplishments by many athletes in their event at Hayfield on Wednesday evening.

Exciting things happening around Atoms Athletics so don't miss out on the action!!

Theatre Director - Katie Brunberg

May 4-7 - Spring Musical -The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical: As the half-blood son of a Greek god, Percy Jackson has newly-discovered powers he can't control, a destiny he doesn't want, and a mythology textbook's worth of monsters on his trail. When Zeus's master lightning bolt is stolen and Percy becomes the prime suspect, he has to find and return the bolt to prove his innocence and prevent a war between the gods. But to succeed on his quest, Percy will have to do more than catch the thief. He must travel to the Underworld and back; solve the riddle of the Oracle, which warns him of betrayal by a friend; and come to terms with the father who abandoned him. Adapted from the best-selling book The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan and featuring a thrilling original rock score, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical is an action-packed mythical adventure "worthy of the gods" (Time Out New York). Tickets available now on ETIX.

Dance Team Fundraiser

The dance team needs your support! Grab a tote bag (or just contribute a donation) by following this link: Fundraising Link

The tote bag was designed by current sophomore dancer (and artist) Madison Mueller and it includes our dance team motto, "Every move is a moment!"

After competing for the first time this past season, Annandale Dance Team has even bigger ambitions this year .. Including going to dance camp for the first time this summer, along with more local competitions. Your contributions will go towards dance camp and competition fees, along with uniforms and dance gear. It also ensures that costs to dancers remain at a minimum.

We are going into our 3rd year as a team, so we are still young - which means we need all of the fundraising support we can get. Thank you for your support! GO ATOMS!
