Notes from the Nest
We hope all of our families had a wonderful Spring Break! We jumped right back into school with Spring Picture Day, SOL preparation, Kindergarten Orientation for next year and an amazing performance from the USMC Silent Drill Team. Not only was their performance incredibly moving, but our students were witnessing history as the team was lead by the first-ever female captain!
Just a reminder that today (April 14) is the last day to order a 2022-2023 SEES yearbook (see above for the link).

PTA Meeting & Officer Candidates
Please join us for this year's last PTA meeting to elect officers for next year and begin the planning for 2023-2024!
The slate of officers for next year is: President – Ashley Doss, Vice President – William Samuel, Treasurer – Chad Sheldon and Secretary – Megan Brooks.
Staff Appreciation Week - Seeking Gift Cards
To thank the them for all they do, we are seeking gift cards to be raffled off to the SEES staff during Staff Appreciation Week (May 8-12). Gift cards of any amount to any vendor are welcome! Please send them in to the school office labeled SEES PTA.
Family Game Night
On April 28 (in lieu of Spring Bingo), we will be hosting a Family Game Night! Join us from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the SEES cafeteria for a fun, free evening of playing board games with family members, students and staff. There will be snacks and pizza (by the slice) for sale. Children must be accompanied by an adult. See the flyer in yesterday's Friday Folder for more information.
Art to Remember
With our Art to Remember fundraiser, your child's artwork will be turned into a treasured keepsake! Options include mugs, special picture frames, water bottles and more - these make terrific gifts for loved ones!
To start, parents/guardians can fill out a permission slip (via this Google Form) which gives consent to provide Art To Remember with your student's name and teacher. Filling out this form does not obligate you to purchase anything, but is required if you want the option to purchase any artwork products.
