Floris Families,
Another busy week with SOL testing. We send our appreciation to Rob Gibbs and Shannon Daly (Floris School Test Coordinators) and Willa McGrath and Forrest Wagner (Technology Team) for the many hours of behind the scenes preparation that go into testing. Kudos to the teachers and students for all their hard work preparing for and participating in these assessments.
We have students needing make-up tests or qualifying for expedited retakes. Those will be happening in the upcoming weeks in May. Thank you for reminding your child to have their fully charged laptop at school each day.
Our Kindergarten students had a great day at Frying Pan Park yesterday.
A reminder to families, if your child has medication in the School Health Room, a parent must come to Floris by Friday, June 16, at 2:00pm to pick up the medication.
Reminder that we are accepting parent input as part of class placement decisions for the 2023-2024 school year in the Google Form until next Friday (5/26). Please do not request a specific teacher in your information. Teacher requests cannot be guaranteed for multiple reasons.
