Lemon Road is planning for next year! In order to monitor class size and hire the very best staff, we need to know plans for our families. Rising kindergarteners or new families to Lemon Road, please complete this form: https://lemonroades.fcps.edu/student-services/new-student-registration.
Parents that wish to contribute information towards class lists for the 2023 - 2024 school year, may submit this form. Completion of the form is optional, however, the deadline for submission is April 28, 2023. Thank you for your partnership. Parents of rising kindergarteners will receive a separate link this summer.
As a reminder, next week, April 3-7 is Spring Break. Schools and school offices will be closed. Families can email Mrs. Castillo at aocastillo@fcps.edu or Mrs. Nealson at manealson@fcps.edu to schedule an appointment or phone call. Students will return to school on Monday, April 10, 2023. We hope you are all able to take this time to connect as a family and have a wonderful weekend and a fabulous Spring Break!

Spring Fair is coming soon: the event is on April 29th from 10am to 3pm! We have more games, stalls, and activities this year and are very excited to create a truly memorable and fun day for our community - we can't wait to see you there! Tickets are only needed for children aged 5+, under 5's and adults are free!
Staff Appreciation Week is also coming in fast. At Lemon Road we celebrate all of the wonderful staff who contribute to our school during national Teacher Appreciation Week, which this year is May 1st - May 5th. More information on how you can support and get involved will be coming soon so mark your calendars and watch this space!
Our April PTA General Meeting, on April 18th at 7pm, will feature both Ms. Burke and Ms. Busch as well as a seed swap opportunity - we hope to see many of you there.
Following Spring Break, we will be focusing on the character strength of Fairness. Fairness means you believe that all people have value. You approach situations with an unbiased mindset and treat everyone with respect. Fairness is the product of moral judgment - the process by which people determine what is morally right and what is morally wrong.
For individuals, cultivating the character strength of fairness is correlated with highly desirable developmental outcomes. It helps people to become trustworthy friends, responsible citizens, and generally moral people.
