No Money Needed for Prom Dress Shopping at Centreville High - April 14
FCPS marketing students from Centreville High School and the Fair Oaks Classroom on the Mall program will open their next Prom Dress Shop on April 14, at Centreville High School. Since 2006, the dress shop has helped hundreds of financially challenged students attend prom in style each spring by providing dresses and accessories at no cost.
Any area student—not just those from Fairfax County Public Schools—who does not have the funds to purchase a prom dress may choose from hundreds of new dresses donated by Macy’s. Students must show a valid student ID, or another form of school identification, to choose a free dress on select days from Friday, March 24, to Sunday, May 7. See shop hours.
Annual Centreville Pyramid Art Show 2023 - April 19, 4:30pm - 6:30pm
Enjoy artwork by the students of Centreville High, Liberty Middle, Bull Run Elementary, Centre Ridge Elementary, Centreville Elementary, Powell Elementary, and Union Mill Elementary. The opening will be Wed., April 19th from 4:30pm - 6:30pm in the CVHS main atrium. Hope to see you there!
Willy Wonka Spring Musical - April 22 at 2:00 & 7:00 & April 23 at 2:00pm
Mark your calendar for the CVHS Spring Musical - Willy Wonka. The students have been working very hard and would love to see you in the crowd!
CVHS Prom Information - April 29, 7-11, State Theatre
This year's Junior and Senior Prom will be held at the State Theatre in Falls Church on April 29 from 7-11pm. The theme is Masquerade. The dance will have a DJ, photo booth, 360 video booth, and light refreshments. If students would like to bring a guest who does not attend CVHS, guest forms are available in the main office.
Ticket sales will begin after Spring Break. From April 10-20, they will be sold on A days at lunch for $60. The week of the dance (April 24-28), they will be sold every day at lunch, and the cost will go up to $70 a ticket. The dance will have a DJ, photo booth, 360 video booth, and light refreshments.

CVHS Bandemonium - Save the Date - Fri., May 19th, 6:30pm, Outdoor Concert
We would like to invite you to the 2nd annual BANDEMONIUM event at Centreville High School, taking place on Friday, May 19th, starting at 6:30PM. Please save the date for this amazing spring concert outdoor festival featuring the talented band musicians of Centreville High School. This family and community event will also feature food trucks, great live music and fun raffles.

Springfield and Sully District Town Hall - Monday, April 10 @ 7pm, Chantilly High
 Please join Sully District Representative Stella Pekarsky, Springfield District Representative Laura Jane Cohen, FCPS Superintendent Dr. Michelle Reid, and Student Representative to the School Board Michele Togbe for a town hall. All Springfield and Sully District families, staff, students, and community members are welcome! We hope to see you there!

Community Mtg on the Dangers of Fentanyl - April 24, 6:30-8 @ Woodson HS
 Last month, the division hosted a conversation on the dangers of fentanyl. During this impactful event, audience members heard testimonials from individuals affected by the opioid epidemic and learned facts from medical experts and law enforcement representatives.
The conversation will continue on Monday, April 24, 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Woodson High School. Transportation will be available from select schools throughout the county. View the registration page for details.
