Don’t miss out on this keepsake of your child’s year at Sunrise Valley. We’ve run out in years past and want to be sure that all interested students receive a copy. Purchase your yearbook using school code 21466. Yearbooks will be distributed the last week of school.
Show What You Know Expo: Support Sunrise Valley students and join us tonight starting at 6:30pm
Over 100 students will participate in this evening's Show What You Know Expo. All are welcome to visit the school cafeteria and gym from 6:30-7:45pm to see students exhibit on exciting topics, ranging from Acting Techniques, Programming through Scratch, Ice Skating, How to Train Your Dog, and more!
Participants -- Plan to arrive at SVES between 6-6:20pm to check-in and get set up. Check your child in, and they'll receive their expo t-shirt (which they can immediately put on) and a name tag and will be told if their board has been set up in the gym or cafeteria. The name tag will also indicate which time period they should stay by their board and interact with attendees and which time period they should feel free to wander and enjoy the exhibits. The event will run from 6:30-7:45pm. At the conclusion, please take your child’s board and other materials home with you and help us fold and put away the tables.

Call for Volunteers: Share your nominations for next year's PTA Board
We're now accepting nominations for next year's SVES PTA Board! Many of our Board members have agreed to continue volunteering next year, and we're looking for two new Board members:
Membership Chair -- Someone who loves interacting with people to lead our efforts next year to sign families up for PTA membership. Note that fall/winter will be the busiest time of the year for this position.
Program Chair -- Someone who loves student enrichment events (Family Science Night, Spelling Bee, Show What You Know, etc.) and would like to help implement these events next year.
Would you like to join the team, learn more about these roles, or have someone in mind you think would be a good fit? Contact Jennifer Glynn.
SVES PTA Facebook Group: Join now
Did you know that the SVES PTA has a Facebook group? We have over 300 parents, teachers, and staff members in the group. It's a great way to stay connected with all things Sunrise Valley, share local activities and events, and grow your network and the community.
Questions? Contact Melissa DiLoreto.
