Kings Glen Garden Clean-Up Day
Saturday, April 15 from 9 AM-12 Noon
Time for spring cleaning! We are going to have a Garden Clean-Up Day on Saturday, April 15th from 9am-noon. We will be spreading mulch, weeding, cleaning up the garden beds, and assembling a new greenhouse. If you are able to help out, please sign up here. Thank you!

Kings Jesters Moana Jr. Tickets On Sale Now!
Show Dates April 26th and 27th
Back after a 3-year hiatus, the Kings Jesters will be performing the musical Moana Jr. on Wednesday, April 26 and Thursday, April 27! Tickets are $5 each, and can be purchased via MySchoolBucks, cash, or check payable to Kings Glen ES. If paying by cash/check, please place in envelope with your student's name and teacher. Seating is limited, so be sure to get your tickets!

Spring Pictures Are Now Available to Order!
Spring Portraits are now available to view and order online! All orders will include free shipping if ordered by midnight on Tuesday, April 11th.

April is Month of the Military Child
Kings Glen will be celebrating Military Child Month in April in several ways. For our Month of the Military Child celebration, KG will be displaying a world map with markers where military students have lived. Military families, please respond via this Google form where your student has lived if you would like to participate!

Trex Recycling Program Ends Friday, April 14
The Trex Challenge 2022-2023 ENDS THIS FRIDAY, April 14! Thank you to all who have brought in plastic. Keep it coming! Please send in plastic bags, films and wraps. The challenge is bigger this year since we are competing against other schools! Email Michelle Anderson with any questions.

Baskets Bonanza Begins TODAY, April 12!!
Our always popular spring FUNdraiser (Baskets Bonanza!) starts Wednesday, April 12 at 5pm. The event will take place online at http://kpkgpta.basketraffle.org. Tickets are $1 each and can be used for any of the classroom themed baskets, staff experiences or community donated items. The raffle closes promptly at 7pm on 4/26. KPKG PTA's second annual Earth Day celebration will take place on Saturday, April 29th at 4-6pm at Kings Glen. We have a fabulous lineup of new and returning exhibitors, including Hidden Oaks Nature Center, Hidden Gems Farm, and a polar oceanographer. We are also planning some fun activities with a chance to win prizes and will have two food trucks onsite. We hope you will join us!
