Spring Picture Day
Individual and Class Pictures
Wednesday, March 29
Class pictures and individual spring pictures will be taken this Wednesday, March 29. Order forms were sent home with students last week in Thursday folders. Extra order forms are available in the office.
The following pictures will be taken on March 29:
- New Students (who began after Fall Picture Day on October 21)
- Class Pictures
- Students (who have preordered online or bring an order form/payment)
UPDATE: Group Photos & GR 6 Panoramic Photo WILL NOT be taken on this day.
Order forms must be returned to the office before Picture Day (or given to the photographer when the picture is taken). No late payments or orders will be accepted.

Spring Break COVID Test

If your family is planning to travel or attend large gatherings over spring break, and you would like to ensure your child is healthy before returning to school, please contact Jo Wechselblatt in the main office at (703) 262-7400, or jewechselbla@fcps.edu,to obtain a test kit in advance of spring break.
Please note, testing is NOT required for students to return to school after break. However, you may want to test your student if they are symptomatic or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. Kits will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
As a reminder, April 3-7 is Spring Break. Schools and school offices will be closed. We wish our students and teachers a happy and restful Spring Break! Students will return to school on Monday, April 10, 2023.

News from the HWES PTA
Order Your 2022-2023 Yearbook Online
Deadline: Friday, April 14
- Order your child's 2022-2023 yearbooks at Order Yearbook Here. Use school code 0037427YB. The cost is $18 per soft cover copy.
- Order now to guarantee you get a copy and at a lower price!! After April 14th, we will only be selling a limited number of yearbooks at the end of the year. The in-person price will $20 per book. Once they are gone, they are gone!!
- Yearbook order forms were sent home with students in the Thursday folders on March 9th. Extra order forms are available in the main office.
- If you would prefer to purchase your yearbook by check (made payable to “HWPTA”) or cash, please send your payment in the envelope attached to the order form. (Please make sure to tape/seal the envelope so your payment is not lost.)
