Dear Parent/Guardian of a 3rd, 4th, or 5th Grade Mason Crest Student,
We are writing today to share the Standards of Learning test dates for the Spring 2023 testing season. Most testing will end by 1:30 p.m. on each of our regularly scheduled testing days.
We ask that you please take note of these dates and do all that you can to ensure that your child is here for their scheduled tests. We would also encourage your child to get a good night's sleep before their test. Proper nutrition, hydration, and sleep are keys to each child having the opportunity to do their best each day.
Information regarding student accommodations, parent refusal of testing, and test retakes will be sent home through the our Wednesday folders during the month of April.
Please email either your child's teacher or our school testing coordinators with any questions that you may have about these or any other assessments conducted at Mason Crest. Our testing coordinators, Larry Aiello and Shana Conroy, can be reached at leaiello@fcps.edu and sconroy@fcps.edu.

Wednesday, March 27- Parent Coffee: Supporting Mental Health at Home; 8:15a.m. in the Mason Crest Library
Friday, March 31- Last day of school before Spring Break
Monday, April 3-Friday, 7- No school; Spring Break 2023
Monday, April 10- First day back at school after Spring Break
Thursday, April 13- 2 Hour Early Release for Students and Last Day of the 3rd Quarter; Students dismissed at 2:00 p.m.
Friday, April 14- Student Holiday; No school
Monday, April 17- First day of the 4th Quarter
Tuesday, April 18- Parent Teacher Organization meeting; Time TBD
