Spring Break COVID Test Kit Distribution
If your family is planning to travel or attend large gatherings during Spring Break, and you would like to ensure your child is healthy before returning to school, please contact us at KGNotes@fcps.edu to obtain a test kit in advance of Spring Break. Please note, testing is NOT required for students to return to school after break. However, you may want to test your student if they are symptomatic or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. Kits will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Kings Jesters Moana Jr. Tickets On Sale Now!
Show Dates April 26th and 27th
Back after a 3-year hiatus, the Kings Jesters will be performing the musical Moana Jr. on Wednesday, April 26 and Thursday, April 27! Tickets are $5 each, and can be purchased via MySchoolBucks, cash, or check payable to Kings Glen ES. If paying by cash/check, please place in envelope with your student's name and teacher. Seating is limited, so be sure to get your tickets!

April is Month of the Military Child
Kings Glen will be celebrating Military Child Month in April in several ways. One of these is a display in the main hallway. Please share pictures of parents/guardians or immediate family members who have served or currently serve in the military. Please send to Michelle Anderson by March 31.

Trex Recycling Program Ends Friday, April 14
The Trex Challenge 2022-2023 ends on Friday, April 14! Thank you to all who have brought in plastic. Keep it coming! Please send in plastic bags, films and wraps. The challenge is bigger this year since we are competing against other schools! Email Michelle Anderson with any questions.

Baskets Bonanza Update!
Begins Wednesday, April 12
The PTA’s annual spring FUNdraiser will be online once again, and will open at 5pm on Wednesday, April 12th, and close on Wednesday, April 26 at 7pm. (More Information).
FREE Virtual Session with Rachel Bailey

We’re pleased to offer a second session with positive parenting expert Rachel Bailey, this time on parenting children with big emotions. The session will take place on Thursday, April 13th at 7pm. (Registration Information)
PTA Earth Day Celebration
Saturday, April 29, 4-6 p.m.
KPKG PTA's second annual Earth Day celebration will take place on Saturday, April 29th at 4-6pm at Kings Glen. We have a fabulous lineup of new and returning exhibitors, including Hidden Oaks Nature Center, Hidden Gems Farm, and a polar oceanographer. We are also planning some fun activities with a chance to win prizes and will have two food trucks onsite. We hope you will join us!
