BROADWAY'S BACK!

st. patricks day

Kindergarteners enjoyed celebrating St. Patrick's Day!  Mrs. Danzenbaker's class created potato characters and took them on a parade through the school.  Mrs. Sung's class designed leprechaun traps and set them throughout their classroom.  Unfortunately, no one caught the leprechaun.  He made a bit of a mess in their room, but left them some chocolate coins.

books

The SCA is sponsoring a Book Drive to fill the little library at the front of the school. We would like gently used books for students. The drive will run March 20 - March 31. Boxes will be placed around the school for donations.

Next week, during morning meetings, students will discuss being a goal-directed and resilient individual from the Portrait of a Graduate.

Lost and found

After everything was cleared out and donated just a month ago, the Lost & Found is filling up again! If you are on your way to the Variety Show be sure to check it for any lost items!

 VGA Score Report Letters

A parent score report letter was centrally mailed to parents of students in Grades 3-6.  It provides families with information about student outcomes from the Fall and Winter VGA windows combined.

The combined reporting for Fall and Winter allows families to view change in the vertical scaled score over time and in relation to the end-of-year proficiency target. Letters also provide the number of items answered correctly within each reporting category for the two testing windows as another way to view student progress over time.

For more information on how to understand this data, please visit the the VGA Score Reports public webpage.
