Our robotics team is finalizing their robot after working tirelessly since January. The FIRST Robotics Competition is a national contest in which teams of students are challenged to raise funds, design a team "brand," hone teamwork skills, and build and program industrial-size robots to play a difficult field game against like-minded competitors. It’s as close to real-world engineering as a student can get. We are so excited for our very own Team 612 who will compete at Hayfield Secondary in the FIRST Chesapeake District March 17th-19th.
