United States Navy Band comes to Key Center School March 15th

Navy Band

The United States Navy Band is the premier musical organization.  Since its inception in 1925, the Navy Band has been entertaining audiences and supporting the Navy with some of the best musicians in the country. From national concert tours to presidential inaugurals to memorial services at Arlington National Cemetery, the Navy Band proudly represents the men and women of the largest, most versatile, most capable naval force on the planet today: America's Navy.

We look forward to welcoming this band back to Key Center where they have performed frequently over the last few years.  Family members are welcome to join us for this special event on March 15.  RSVP forms were sent home today in your child’s backpack.  Please return the form by Friday, March 10th.

Key Center Bake Sale/Fundraiser

Bake Sale

On Wednesday, March 1st, Key Center held a bake sale to raise funds for the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.  Students and staff in our 17-22 program took the lead on planning and preparation for this event.  Students went on community trips to purchase supplies for the bake sale.  Many classes also prepared baked goods to be sold at the bake sale.  Our generous Key Center families and staff contributed by sending in baked goods and/or donations.  We are pleased to announce that our bake sale raised a total of $570.00!  All donations were sent to the Syrian American Medical Society for distribution to individuals in need in Turkey and Syria.  Thanks to all for your generous support!
