kinder registration

We are starting to make preparations for the 2023-24 academic year. Children who will be five (5) years old on or before September 30, 2023 are eligible to attend kindergarten next fall. If you have a child who will attend kindergarten at Sangster next school year, please complete this survey and return it to the school via email to: SangsterElem.Registration@fcps.edu

Registration information will be provided to all families who complete and return this survey.

Please spread the word to your neighbors who don’t already have a child at Sangster. Feel free to pass this form along, or have neighbors with rising kindergarteners call the office at 703-644-8200 for more information.

It's an easy five-step process for parents wanting to register their child for kindergarten:

  1. Determine eligibility.
  2. Identify your local school.
  3. Gather documents.

Positivity Project - Week of March 6, 2023

pp
positive

Our Positivity Project focus for this week is the Other People Mindset with an emphasis on identifying and appreciating the good in others. Those who demonstrate this mindset work hard to identify and value others’ strengths. Ask your student to share what they have learned about their strengths this year.

The site P2 For Families is available for connecting P2 to your home and you can learn more about the site here. Many of the slides are password protected and the password is P2 (case-sensitive).

Next Week’s Character Strength: We will review the character strengths we have learned so far this year.
