Portrait of a Graduate (POG) Skills

Let’s take a closer look at our Communicator POG attribute.  Our students have been spending this year learning about what it looks like and sounds like to be a communicator.  They have begun to regularly reflect on some of the following POG skills that fall under the attribute of Communicator:

  • I make connections to what I read or hear.
  • I listen and ask questions so I can understand.
  • I speak clearly for a reason and in a way that helps others understand me.
  • I use the writing process to organize my thoughts and share my ideas.
  • I use digital tools to research and share ideas.
