 What a gorgeous weekend! I hope each of your families have enjoyed the extended time together, but we look forward to seeing all lions for a full week of school. Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to support the outdoor event AND for our generous families who continue to drop off donations of drinks and snacks for our staff. Last week, our kindergarten and first grade classes welcomed special visits to share about dental health and hygiene in an interactive presentation!
As we kick off spring field trip season, a reminder to all families that students are expected to wear their Lemon Road polo on all field trips. Looking forward to seeing parents in person or online for our Spring Principals Coffee this Friday. This is an informal opportunity to connect with the administrators and PTA.

 We are so happy the salad bar is returning to Lemon Road in ONE WEEK! This means that all students that purchase lunch will first go through the salad bar, then may choose a hot item.

- The annual Lemon Road Basketball Game will be on March 24th - flyers with information on how to purchase your tickets and volunteer to support the event went home this week. We are very grateful to our wonderful staff who make this event possible by being such good sports every year and volunteering to play - we can't wait to cheer you on! - Our Spring Spirit Wear store will be opening on March 8th - flyers will be with you on Wednesday with how to view the store and make your purchases. If you have spirit wear that your children have outgrown please consider dropping it into the returned polo box in the school lobby - the school counsellors and administration help the PTA to get these items to LRES families based on need.

The 19th annual Techstravaganza will be held on May 13, 2023 from 10 AM to 4 PM at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, VA, and they would like to invite all lions to attend Techstravaganza.
