Course Selection

Course Selections for 2023-24 School Year & FCPS Summer Courses

Counselors are finishing up Academic Advising meetings with their students this week. Students and families should review Course Requests through their StudentVUE/ParentVUE accounts in the 'Course Requests' tab for accuracy and communicate any requested updates to counselors no later than Friday, March 17. Any new requests for courses after March 17 will be considered on a space available basis.

Registration for FCPS Summer Courses is open now and available online. The website includes information on meeting dates, required in-person exams, and more. Students planning to take a summer course to create room in their class schedule for next year (e.g., take Health/PE 10 over the summer to create space for another elective) should register no later than March 17 to ensure they get a space in the other elective course.

Information on the Self-Directed Econ/Personal Finance course is also available online. All FCPS students must earn one credit in Econ/Personal Finance to graduate.

Students and families can access Madison's Academic Advising website for details on graduation requirements, available courses, and more.
