Ways Parents Can Order:
- Online at barksdalephoto.com using Access Code 0038018SG Pictures can be ordered online before picture day and up to 24 hours after picture day.
- By filling out the order form and returning it on picture day. The form needs to be given to the photographer before pictures are taken. - Order forms will be going home soon!
If you don’t order pictures, you will receive a proof of your child’s pictures and can then order them online.

Next week, during morning meetings, students will review Zones of Regulation - reminding us that what you do and what you say, impacts others.

Kindergarten Registration
We are looking forward to meeting our rising Kindergarteners! To register your child for kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year, they must be 5 years old, on or before September 30, 2023.
Please complete the Survey of Preschool children with your rising kindergartener's information as soon as possible.
Please share this information with friends/neighbors who have upcoming kindergarten children. They may call the school at 703-937-6100 to share their information and receive a registration packet.
Our Kindergarten Orientation is currently scheduled for Thursday, March 2 from 3:00-3:45PM. It will be in-person and your rising kindergartener is encouraged to join us!

Substance Use Presentations
FCPS is dedicated to providing parents and community members with the most accurate and up-to-date information on youth substance use, prevention, addiction, interventions and available supports. Please join us and our partners from the Fairfax County Police Department and Community Services Board as we discuss these topics as well as the ongoing opioid crisis. Attendees will walk away with an understanding of:
- Alcohol, nicotine, cannabis, and opioid.
- List what you can do as a caregiver.
- How to identify and connect with community resources.
