Do you have a food truck (or food tent) business?
Every year Herndon MS hosts "Food Truck Fridays" for teachers and staff to buy lunch from local small business! If you or you know someone that would be interested in join in on the fun please contact Kim Sanchez at kysanchez@fcps.edu
Note:
- We plan to book Fridays starting March 10th- June 9th
- We have about 100 staff members (each will buy their own meals)
- Lunches are from 10:30am- 1:00pm
- Trucks/ Food stand will set up at the front of the school (door1)
- Businesses are welcome to share their location on their social media or other platforms to serve non HMS customers.

Hello Herndon Middle School Families and Supporters-
The Herndon Middle School Theatre Department will proudly present Legally Blonde Jr. The Musical on March 24th and March 25th, 2023, in the Herndon Middle School auditorium! These performances draw more than 800 guests, and we are planning for an even bigger crowd this year!
Please consider supporting our students by promoting your business or purchasing a shout-out space in our virtual program. We will have a bifold program with QR codes to the advertisements and additional materials. Funds from these ads are used to purchase theatre supplies and equipment throughout the year.
The prices for ads or shout-out space are: full page - $75; half page - $50; quarter page - $25; and one line - $10. Checks should be made out to the “HMS Theatre Parent Boosters” and mailed to: HMS Theatre Boosters c/o Sarah Stein, 1700 Firewood Court, Herndon, VA 20170. Payments can also be made via Venmo (@Sarah-Stein-36) or PayPal (sarahkt99@gmail.com). Unfortunately, any forms and payment delivered after March 7, 2023, will be returned. The attached form and ads, copy, and images should be emailed to Sarah Stein at sarahkt99@hotmail.com.
Because of generous supporters like you, we can put on these awesome shows each year! These ad sales really help ensure that opportunities to participate in the theatre program continue to be available to any interested student. These programs are pivotal to the success and well-being of our Herndon Middle School students.
Should you consider supporting this worthy cause, please see the attached document for more information on how to submit and pay for your advertisement or shout-out. If you have any questions, please email me at address below. In order your ad or shout-out to be included in the show program, we must receive your payment and information by March 8th, 2023.

For the past two years, the federal government has provided no-cost meals to all public school students without the need tao complete the annual Free and Reduced-Price Meal application. The extension of the no-cost meals benefit to all students is expected to expire at the end of this school year, meaning families must submit an application and be approved to be eligible for free and reduced-price meals for the 2022-23 school year.  This weekly summer program gives students the opportunity to dive deeper into CTE program areas, encourages career exploration, and helps develop useful skills. Registration is open from February 1 to June 9, 2023. There are a limited number of seats for this camp. To guarantee a spot, register early!
