This week we celebrated love! Love for ourselves, each other, and our amazing school!

Bucknell Families,

What an amazing week of school! On Monday we celebrated the 100th day of school! Our students were so excited to show how they were 100 days smarter! Students wrote about what they would do with $100, played math games around the number 100 and even came up with 100 ways we can show kindness!  Tuesday was Valentine’s Day and we celebrated our love for ourselves, each other and our school! This week we also had a presentation for Children’s Dental Health Awareness Month from Dr. Angela Austin, from Alexandria Children’s Dentistry.

A few important dates to keep in mind…

  • Wednesday, February 22nd at 6pm – FREE Basic Financial Literacy Class with TRUIST. All families are welcomed, there will be free dinner, and childcare!

Monday, February 20th is Presidents Day! School will be closed.  Please enjoy the long weekend with your children and we look forward to welcoming them back into the building on Tuesday, February 21st.
