An Update From The Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Washington DC
At this point Turkish missions have received sufficient clothing donations and will stop receiving clothing items today, February 12th at 10 PM local time. Should an additional need arise, another announcement will be made.
There is still an urgent need of the following items:
- Disaster Tents
- Blankets
- Sleeping Bags
- Floor mats for disaster tents
- Bed chairs
- Heaters (220V compatible or with converter)
- Generators (with 220V outlet or with converter)
- Portable restrooms & Lavatories
- Shipping containers
We kindly ask our donors to provide only new/unused items.
If you would like to help, you may drop items off to the Embassy in Washington, D. C. directly. Alternatively, Bush Hill will collect items for the next week to be dropped off to the Embassy next week. If you are willing to drop off items to the Embassy on behalf of Bush Hill, please call the Bush Hill Main Office at 703-924-5600.
