Weekly update for February 17, 2023

yyyyyyyyyuu

Dear CES friends and families:

It was such an exciting and productive week at Columbia ES! On Monday we kicked off the week with the 100th day of school, on Tuesday we had our monthly PTA meeting and it was Valentine's day of course, and today we are wrapping up the week with a school wide morning meeting and faculty soup luncheon. Thank you to all the volunteers, teachers, parents, students and community members who continue to make this such a wonderful place to teach and learn!

As a reminder, there will be no school on Monday in celebration of President's Day. We are also very excited for next week's Columbia Family Heritage Night on Thursday February 23rd at 6pm. See below for more details.

Have a wonderful three day weekend and we'll see all our Cougars back on Tuesday, February 21st.

Take care,

Mike Astudillo

Clothing donations now being accepted!

From time to time, our students will need a change of clothes in generally unexpected situations. Our wonderful school counselor, Ms. Robinson, is running low on extra clothes for kids to change into when these needs arise. If you have any extra kids clothes you would like to donate it would be greatly appreciated. We are especially in need of boys pants. Reach out to Ms. Robinson with any questions. Thank you!
