Congratulations to Ms. Albertson for being nominated as Eagle View's Outstanding Teacher and to Ms. Palencia for winning the Fairfax High School Pyramid Outstanding School-Based Operational Employee Award. 


Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run is coming to EV! GOTR is a physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-6th grade. The program teaches life skills through dynamic interactive lessons and running games. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment, while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness. Our program has been adapted to ensure physical distancing and safety. In-person practices include safety, sanitizing, and physical distancing precautions and modifications.

Starting the week of March 6, the team will meet every Monday and Wednesday from 4:15-5:15 PM. The program culminates in a celebratory 5K at the end of the season! The standard program fee is $185 and includes 20 lessons/practices, a t-shirt, water bottle, entry into the 5K, a 5K medal, and more. Financial assistance is available for anyone who needs it, with the lowest program registration cost being $22 for the season. Register by February 28th at www.gotrnova.org. Kindergarten Registration: It’s as Easy as 1-2-3…

There’s an easy five-step process outlined for parents looking to register their child for kindergarten:

  1. Determine eligibility. 
  2. Identify your local school. 
  3. Gather documents. 
  4. Fill out forms. 
  5. Schedule an appointment.

After the appointment at the school (the student and one caregiver must be present), the student will be ready for orientation, Bridge to Kindergarten, or any other introductory events each school may host. Read more about the registration process

Los padres que deseen matricular a sus hijos al Kindergarten deben seguir un sencillo proceso de cinco pasos:

Students approved for Free and Reduced-Price Meals may qualify for additional benefits such as waived or reduced fees for instruments, uniforms, field trips, FCPS class fees, and Parktakes classes. Schools also benefit from funding opportunities based on Free and Reduced-Price Meal application numbers.
