Dear Stenwood Families,
Thank you to our school counselors! Mrs. Hapangama and Mrs. Berick are always ready to come to the rescue and support all of our Stingers.
We loved seeing so many Stingers last night at our PTA’s Paint Night! It was so wonderful to see all of the budding artists! If you have not had a chance to submit your pictures from last night, please submit them here: https://forms.gle/r8wgEyF3MPkaF1ZZ9 (you have to be logged into gmail) or email them directly to Mrs. Krum, jekrum@fcps.edu. The link for submitting them on our website that was shared last night is unfortunately NOT working, so please send them again! We want to see all the amazing artwork.
Do you ever feel like you need a quick reminder about a spirit day or upcoming school event? We are creating a new TalkingPoints group that you can sign up for that will provide those quick reminders to come to you in a text because we know there is a lot to keep track of! If you would like to join, please fill out this form.
Looking ahead to next week, Wednesday, 2/15 is spring picture day for both class pictures and individual portraits. Friday, 2/17 is SCA Spirit Day and the theme is Wacky Day.

FCPS has a Bus Delay Notification System to centrally alert families when buses are delayed. Bookmark this site to stay informed!
SEL Screener Information and Parent Workshop
Parents in grades 3-6, should have received your child’s SEL screener results in the mail. FCPS has created a webpage dedicated to helping parents understand the results of the SEL screener data, how to talk to your child about the screener data, and conversation starters/skill builders for each of the domains. Please take advantage of these resources. If you did not have a chance to join our parent coffee on Tuesday, here is the recording and slidedeck.
