ST Math

We are so proud of our mathematicians for working towards meeting personal and collective goals. This week our students exceeded our goal of completing an average of 50 puzzles; they completed an average of 65 ST Math puzzles! There's one week remaining in the #STMathWinterChallenge.

Kindness Week

Volunteers Needed to Support Our Salad Bar Reopening

at Dranesville Elementary School

Salad Bar

 

We would love volunteers to support students in accessing the salad bar during lunches throughout the first month of our salad bar reopening, February 28th-March 28th. We are in need of helping hands from 11:00-1:30. Please email our Family Liaison, Jackson Moscoso to sign up to volunteer for a day or more, as your schedule allows.

Thank you for sharing your time and lending a helping hand as we reopen our salad bar!

Meal Prices

Breakfast

  • Students, grades K-12—$1.75
  • Reduced-price breakfast for qualifying students – no charge 
  • Adults—$2.35

Lunch

  • Elementary school—$3.25
  • Middle school—$3.50
  • Secondary and high school—$3.50
  • Reduced-price lunch for qualifying students – no charge 
  • Adults—$4.50

Milk (Sold Separately)

  • Students and adults—60¢

Low-Cost Internet for Free and Reduced-Price Eligible Students 

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a new Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program to lower internet costs for families with children who have been eligible for free or reduced-price meals within the last 12 months. A qualifying household will receive $30 per month toward internet services and a one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet. Families can check their eligibility and register at AffordableConnectivity.gov or by calling 877-384-2575.


FCPS Cares

The FCPS CARES Program is an opportunity for parents, staff, and community members to recognize FCPS employees for going above and beyond to help others and show they care.

We invite you to submit your story, so we can all acknowledge the good work of FCPS employees, specifically at Dranesville.
