 Tutor.com - Extra Help for Students at No Cost to Families
With Tutor.com through Schoology, FCPS students are able to get learning help at any time, even from bilingual tutors! Students in FCPS meet with tutors thousands of times each week to practice reading, prepare for an upcoming math test, write computer programs, study for the SAT, or to get feedback on scholarship essays–all at no cost to their families! If you haven’t already, we encourage you to take just a few minutes to connect with a tutor with your child. More info about Tutor.com in FCPS is available here.
 Family Science Night is Coming to our School
Join us for Family Science Night on Tuesday, February 28 from 6pm-7:30pm, brought to you by the Children’s Science Center. Students will participate in hands-on experiments, specially designed to provoke interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects.
Volunteers are needed from 5:15pm – 7:45pm. to set up, assist students with activities, and clean up. Please click here to volunteer to help make this event a success.

The Magnet Program registration window will be open from Wednesday March 1, through Wednesday, April 12, 2023. No late applications are accepted.

FCPS accepts online student transfer applications for the upcoming school year from February 15 through June 1.
A student transfer is valid for one year only. FCPS notifies the enrolling parent by email in February if the student is eligible for student transfer renewal.
After notification is received, if the student continues to meet the same student transfer criteria as indicated on the original student transfer application, the enrolling parent may submit an online student transfer renewal application, required documentation, and non-refundable application processing fee.
For students no longer meeting the same student transfer criteria, a new transfer request may be submitted beginning March 1.
